On this page, you will find resources I use behind the scenes at a teacher librarian with those pesky nitty-gritty little details we have to do in our job. I hope you find the resources helpful as you navigate our awesome profession.
Library Monthly/Yearly Statistics Template
Here's another handy tool to help you keep better statistics in your library! This Google Sheet has you track of some statistics you can't run in Destiny! It will help you keep track of the number of patrons through your doors, classes in each day, and number of total Teacher Librarian lessons taught each day for the entire school year. Each month has it's own tab with formulas already embedded to easily sum and average the numbers you enter for each month and then on the last tab for the entire year. Don't have a patron counter on your door? You can invest in one for a couple hundred dollars like THIS ONE. I always take the number each day and divide it in half because it counts people coming in and exiting where I have it set up. PRINTABLES/RESOURCES

Library Monthly Report Template
The importance of keeping good statistics for you library cannot be overstated. Keeping diligent statistics could absolutely save you when admin comes snooping around, wondering about your hours, your staffing, and the viability of the library. I use this monthly report template to gather my statistics in one place. Page one are some general statistics with graphs you can modify throughout the year. Page two is the top ten titles for the month. PRINTABLES/RESOURCES

Standard Library Signage
Are you looking to freshen up your usual signage? Here are a few of the standard signs I either keep up all year long or just keep handy and use when needed. I have large library hours signs. Occasionally we have to close to those with a free period during our school's first or seventh period because of class bookings, so we have standard signs we laminate and write on with whiteboard markers. Finally, a sign displaying our library checkout policies. All are editable in Canva to fit your school. |
Fiction Book Posters
These posters are display in my fiction section wall and feature a wide variety of books in different genres with a short blurb. I have actually found students really like them, and they will ask for books they have seen featured on them when browsing. I created these in Canva, and the links below will take you to an editable template in Canva to make it your own. PRINTABLES/RESOURCES
